Clubs which complete 12 of the 15 challenges will be designated as MODEL Clubs. The challenge goes from July 1, 2007 until April 30, 2008. Good Luck, have FUN! What would I like to see? 1. FUN - Each Club have at least three just-for-fun meetings. 2. PARTNERSHIP – Each club visit or partner with another club. 3. MEMBER INDUCTION - Hold an induction for all new members! 4. NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION - Hold an orientation for ALL new members and assign them to a project … get them involved! 5. ENJOYMENT – Have at least one potluck during the year. 6. COMMUNITY YOUTH – Actively sponsor a youth or youth activity in your community. 7. DISTRICT YOUTH ACTIVITY – Actively work with one of the district youth programs. 8. COMMUNITY GIVING/SHARING - Hold a community service project that members enjoy. 9. CONTRIBUTE – Contribute $$$ to the local community, OLS&HF, LCIF or a charity of your club's choice. 10. ZONE MEETINGS - Club officers attend two zone meetings and come back with ideas the members will like. 11. CLUB MEETINGS – Have one meeting with the BEST community speaker in town/area. Have at least two meetings dealing with LIONS. 12. WEBSITE – Visit the district website or blog and send Lion Victor a description of your best project. 13. MHSU – Schedule the MHSU for your community. 14. PAPERWORK – Have your monthly paperwork turned in on time. 15. CELEBRATE – Celebrate our MEMBERS! | |||
