Serving from the Cascades to the Oregon Coast since 1922.  The Lions have been the main-stay of volunteer service in Oregon.

Each year Lions in District 36R help over 50,000 Oregon residents. 100% of every dollar that is donated to a Lions Club is used for a service project.

Projects range from collecting eye glasses, volunteering in the local schools, helping our elderly and disabled, providing needed eye surgery, volunteering in local food banks and for meals on wheels, and we give flags to  1st graders in our district schools.

Lions make sure that every child in the District who needs glasses and can't afford them is furnished with glasses.   Lions in our area bring the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation Mobile Health Screening Unit to the schools. The MHSU screens almost all the children in the 3rd grades for sight and hearing problems. Lions Clubs serve their communities in many different ways.

The District’s theme this year is GROWING LIONISM. Let’s work together for greater growth in both membership and service to our communities.  Lions make a difference everyday, we not only give service, we give HOPE to those in need.
